How to use the favicon previewer
- Choose your icon image.
- Type your page title.
- Check it in light and dark tabs and at each size.
Designing for 16 pixels
Browser tabs show favicons at 16 × 16 pixels, so fine detail and thin text disappear. Use a bold shape or a single letter, strong contrast, and check it on both light and dark tab bars. To create the actual icon files, use the favicon generator.
