      How to use the merge pdf

      1. Choose or drop the PDFs (and any images) you want to combine.
      2. Use the arrows to put them in order.
      3. Select Create PDF and download the merged file.

      Tips

      • Pages keep their original size and orientation.
      • Images become their own pages, sized to A4, US Letter or the image itself.
      • Need to change the order of pages inside a file? Merge first, then use the PDF Page Organizer.

      Questions

      Is there a limit on files or pages?

      There’s no fixed limit; each file can be up to 150 MB. Very large merges depend on your device’s memory.

      Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

      Pages, text, images and links are kept. Bookmarks (the outline) from the separate files aren’t combined.

      What if my PDF has a password?

      Open it with the <a href="/tools/pdf-unlocker/">PDF Unlocker</a> first (you’ll need the password), then use the unlocked copy here.

      Are my files uploaded?

      No. The PDF is processed by your browser on your own device and is never sent to a server, so it’s safe to use with private documents.
