Rounding methods
- Round half up: 2.5 → 3, 2.4 → 2 (halves go away from zero).
- Ceiling: always up, so 2.1 → 3.
- Floor: always down, so 2.9 → 2.
- Truncate: drop extra digits, so −2.9 → −2.
Rounding is exact: 1.005 rounds to 1.01, avoiding a common computer glitch.
